(Adnkronos) – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has appointed David Lammy as Deputy Prime Minister. Formerly Foreign Secretary, Lammy will also be Justice Secretary. The BBC reports that Yvette Cooper will be the new Foreign Secretary.
The cabinet reshuffle comes after the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner.
