(Adnkronos) – Nepal has announced that it will block access to over twenty social media platforms, including Facebook and X, for failing to meet the deadline for registration in the country. “Unregistered social media platforms will be deactivated starting today,” Gajendra Kumar Thaku, spokesperson for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, told AFP. At the time of the announcement, however, the platforms were still accessible online.
