(Adnkronos) – Chinese President Xi Jinping said during a meeting in Beijing with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un that China’s will to consolidate relations with Pyongyang is “immutable,” according to the official Xinhua news agency.
“The Communist Party and the Chinese government attach great importance to the traditional friendship between China and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and are willing to maintain, consolidate and develop bilateral relations. This position will remain unchanged, whatever the evolution of the international situation,” Xi said.
