(Adnkronos) – The head of the UN refugee agency has asked Pakistan to suspend the mass deportations of Afghan refugees after an earthquake in eastern Afghanistan killed nearly 1,500 people. “The recent earthquake has affected more than 500,000 people,” Filippo Grandi wrote in a post on X, appealing to the Islamabad government to suspend the implementation of the Repatriation Plan.
