(Adnkronos) – The United States could send 3,350 Extended Range Attack Munition (ERAM) missiles to Ukraine by the end of the year, CNN reported, citing a source close to the matter. The missiles could be delivered by the end of 2025 if the sale goes through as planned. The weapons have a range of 150-280 miles and it is not yet clear whether Kyiv will impose restrictions on their use. The announcement of the proposed $825 million sale comes as diplomatic efforts to end the war have yet to yield concrete results, and following Russian raids on the Ukrainian capital on the night of August 27-28. Kyiv could use funding from Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as funds previously allocated by the United States for the purchase.
