(Adnkronos) – Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin in China. Both the North Korean leader and the Russian president will be in Beijing for the military parade on September 3rd. The imminent arrival of Kim and Putin in the People’s Republic, for one of the rare trips abroad of the North Korean leader, was confirmed this morning by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Asian giant.
The North Korean agency Kcna also announced Kim’s presence in Tiananmen Square for the parade with which Beijing will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory against Japan. Kim’s last visit to China dates back to January 2019, when he met Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing. The North Korean leader’s last trip abroad was in September two years ago when he left Pyongyang to go to Russia to see Putin.
According to the Beijing Foreign Ministry, a total of 26 foreign heads of state and government will attend the parade.
