(Adnkronos) – All 148 miners trapped underground following the Russian attack on a Ukrainian mine in the Donetsk region have been rescued. This was announced by the union leader Mykhailo Volynets.
The attack, which took place in Dobropillia, killed one worker, injured three others and caused a power outage that blocked the mine’s lifts. The energy company Dtek, which reported the bombing, confirmed the rescue of all the miners, initially reported as missing.
