(Adnkronos) – The updated toll of yesterday’s Israeli attack on the Yemeni capital Sana’a has risen to 10 dead and over 90 injured. This was announced by the spokesman of the Houthi Ministry of Health, Anees Alasbahi, writing in a post on X that there were “ten dead and 92 injured in the Zionist aggression”, referring to the Israeli raid that yesterday hit a service station and a power plant in the capital controlled by the rebel group.
The Israeli army said it had hit a military complex housing the presidential palace, as well as two power plants and a fuel depot. The attacks were carried out “in response to repeated attacks by the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel and its civilians,” including those “in recent days,” it said.
Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas, Iranian-backed Yemeni rebels have repeatedly launched missiles and drones at Israel, claiming to be acting in solidarity with the Palestinians.
