(Adnkronos) – Israel has destroyed almost 80% of aid facilities in Gaza. This was revealed by the director of the Palestinian NGO network, Amjad Shawa, to Al Jazeera. From the first day of the war in Gaza, Israel has targeted access routes for humanitarian aid for Palestinians in the Strip, leaving people in the enclave without food, medicine or shelter, denounced the director of the ‘Palestinian NGO Network’.
“Palestinian NGOs have been the target of numerous attacks, which have caused the killing of 230 humanitarian workers and the wounding of hundreds of them,” Shawa said: “This has led to the destruction of almost 80 percent of their headquarters and humanitarian aid facilities.” The president of the Palestinian NGOs added that they are also facing a serious financial crisis due to the sharp drop in international funding.
