(Adnkronos) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene a security meeting with top military officials and a small number of ministers to approve IDF plans aimed at taking Gaza City. The Times of Israel reported this, stressing that it is not yet clear whether the meeting will also address the proposed agreement for the release of hostages and the ceasefire accepted by Hamas on Monday, to which Israel has not yet given a formal response. Netanyahu has however indicated that he wants to go ahead with plans to conquer Gaza City.
