(Adnkronos) – Iran has launched its first military exercises since the end of the 12-day war with Israel. Iranian state television announced it, explaining that Tehran navy ships launched missiles at targets at sea in the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean. In particular, the ships launched cruise missiles and used drones on the open sea, as reported by the broadcaster without however broadcasting images of the exercise.
The exercise, called ‘Sustainable Power 1404’, was launched by the Iranian authorities to demonstrate their strength after Israel, together with the United States, destroyed air defense systems and bombed nuclear plants, as the Guardian points out.
