(Adnkronos) – A group of at least 15 armed men attacked an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) military post in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, this morning, injuring three soldiers. This morning, reads a post on X by the IDF, “over 15 terrorists opened fire with weapons and anti-tank rockets and tried to penetrate a fortified IDF position in Khan Yunis”. And “the troops, with the support of the Air Force, eliminated ten armed terrorists in close combat”.
The IDF speaks of an “ongoing incident” and confirms that the military “continues to locate and eliminate the terrorists”, updating the toll to three injured soldiers, one seriously and two with minor injuries. The Times of Israel reports that a video released by the IDF shows drone strikes on a group of at least 18 attackers.
