(Adnkronos) – The death toll from the violent monsoon torrential rains in Pakistan, which have devastated the mountainous province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa since last Thursday, has risen to 393. Authorities announced this as recovery operations for dozens of bodies still missing continue unabated. Of these, 356 deaths were recorded only in Khyber, a province in northwestern Pakistan on the border with Afghanistan, the National Disaster Management Authority (Ndma) reported, adding that 706 people have lost their lives since June 26 due to the floods.
