Lebanon: Top archaeological journal showcases cooperation with Italy

(Adnkronos) – A special edition of the prestigious BAAL journal has highlighted “rich” bilateral cooperation in joint excavations, research and restoration work at Lebanon’s key archaeological sites, Italy’s embassy stated Tuesday.  

“A special edition of BAAL (Bulletin d’Archaeologie et d’Architecture Libanaises) spotlights the rich legacy of Italian-Lebanese archaeological cooperation across key sites in #Lebanon,” the embassy wrote on X. 

“The publication highlights joint missions, research & restoration efforts supported by the Italian government & universities, safeguarding Lebanon’s #CulturalHeritage,” the post added.
