(Adnkronos) – Ukrainian forces repelled a Russian assault on the Hoptivka checkpoint in the Kharkiv oblast, preventing Russian soldiers from entering Ukraine from the Belgorod region. This was reported by Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi city military administration.
Ukrainian troops of the 58th Infantry Brigade killed more than ten Russian soldiers, forcing dozens more to retreat across the border into Russia, Zadorenko said.
