(Adnkronos) – The Damascus government has created a commission to investigate the sectarian clashes that took place in Sweida, in southern Syria, and cost the lives of hundreds of people. With a decree, Syrian Justice Minister Muzher al-Wais stated that a seven-member committee, including judges, lawyers and a military official, will examine the circumstances that led to the “Sweida events”. The results of the investigation will be released within three months.
