(Adnkronos) – Eight Israeli soldiers were injured by a car speeding towards them north of Tel Aviv. The Israeli army reports that the soldiers were near a bus stop when a pirate car ran over them. The incident occurred near Kfar Jona, 35 kilometers north of Tel Aviv. The driver did not stop and the police found his vehicle abandoned a short distance away. Reportedly, an intensive search for the driver is underway. Repeated attacks have occurred in Israel and the West Bank in which Palestinians have deliberately targeted groups of soldiers.
