(Adnkronos) – In a joint press conference from Kyiv with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Gideon Sa’ar stated that Israel and Ukraine have launched a strategic dialogue on the Iranian threat, highlighting the global impact of Tehran’s actions. “Iran has not only threatened Israel,” Sa’ar said, “It has threatened regional and global security. It has threatened Ukraine. Our actions against its weapons and technologies contribute to European and Ukrainian security.”
The minister also claimed responsibility for Israeli attacks against Iran last month, stating that “they have set back its nuclear ambitions by years. We have hit its ballistic missile program hard,” he added, “and we have also damaged the supply of Iranian drones – the same technology that is being used against Ukraine.” Sa’ar then urged Germany, France and the United Kingdom to activate the snapback mechanism to reinstate international sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
