(Adnkronos) – In Pakistan, the new official death toll from the consequences of the monsoon rains is at least 223 dead and about 600 injured. The National Disaster Management Authority updated the toll. Among the 223 victims, there are 12 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, including eight children. The area most affected by rains, floods and landslides is that of Punjab where there are a total of 135 dead and 470 injured.
