(Adnkronos) – Italy and Ethiopia are jointly hosting the three-day United Nations Food Systems summit in Addis Ababa which kicks off on Sunday, the overseas aid department wrote Tuesday on X (formerly Twitter).
“Ready? The 2nd UN Food Systems Summit will take place July 27-29 in Addis Ababa,” read the tweet
“The #UNFSS2025 co-hosted by #Italy & #Ethiopia that will reflect on catalysing global action toward more resilient, inclusive, equitable & sustainable food systems along all the value chain,” the tweet added.
“A call to action that will outline some priorities: incorporate food systems strategies into all national policies through a whole society approach; investing in research, data & innovation; increasing public-private partnerships & facilitate access to concessional finance,” read an earlier tweet on Tuesday.
