(Adnkronos) – The death toll of Palestinian victims in Deir Al-Balah has risen to at least 8 after Israeli tanks entered the city, in the central Gaza Strip, in what is the IDF’s first ground incursion into the area. The Israeli army believes that some of the hostages may be held by Hamas in Deir Al-Balah. Eight houses and three mosques in the area were hit in the Israeli raid, Palestinian medical sources quoted by the Guardian explained.
