This was stated by the Pakistani government agency for disasters. “In the last 24 hours, 54 people have been killed and 227 injured across Pakistan, with most of the deaths reported in Punjab,” a spokeswoman for the National Disaster Management Authority told AFP, adding that the death toll was counted at 8 am local time today.
