(Adnkronos) – Israeli Defence Forces attacks against civilians in Gaza and Thursday’s strike against the Palestinian enclave’s only Catholic Church, in which two people were reportedly killed and several injured, are “unacceptable” Italy’s premier Giorgia Meloni said in a statement.
“The Israeli strikes on Gaza also hit the Church of the Holy Family. The attacks by Israel that have continued for months against the civilian population are unacceptable,” read the statement.
“No military action can justify such behaviour,” the statement added.
