Iraq, drones hit three oil fields in Kurdistan

(Adnkronos) – Explosive-laden drones hit three oil fields in Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan region. Kurdish forces said this after a similar attack yesterday halted operations at a US-operated field. “At 6 and 6:15 a.m., two explosive-laden drones attacked” the Peshkabir oil field, operated by Norwegian oil group Dno, and at 7 a.m. a similar drone hit the Tawke field in the Zakho district, Kurdistan’s counter-terrorism services reported. Another attack, at 7:14 a.m., targeted a US-operated oil field in Dohuk province. There were no casualties.
