(Adnkronos) – The lower and upper houses of parliament’s foreign and European affairs committees are set on Wednesday to question ambassador to Italy Peter Taksoe-Jensen on Denmark’s priorities for its six-month rotating European Council presidency from July to December.
The hearing will take place at 3pm at the lower house of parliament and will be live-streamed in Italian and English, the parliament said in a statement.
Denmark will keep preparing Ukraine for European Union membership despite Hungary’s obstruction of negotiations, and will aim to reach agreement among the bloc’s members on its planned 2040 climate goals, European affairs minister Marie Bjerre said last month
