(Adnkronos) – A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck off the Indonesian islands of the Moluccas, in the east of the country, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 80 kilometers, was located about 177 kilometers west of the city of Tual, in the province of East Moluccas. Despite the intensity of the quake, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center ruled out any tsunami risk.
