(Adnkronos) – Italy’s foreign minister Antonio Tajani and US president Donald Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg held talks on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference which kicks off in Rome on Thursday.
Tajani who is set to open the Recovery Forum at 12,30, earlier opened a dedicated donors’ conference on mobilising financial support for Ukraine’s recovery. At 13,30, Tajani was due to meet Italian business chiefs including from Italian companies taking part in the conference. Tajani will hold a string of bilateral meetings throughout the day, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Around 5,000 participants are taking part in the Ukraine Recovery Conference including 100 government delegations, 40 from international organisations including leading development banks, 2,000 companies, top local authority and regional representatives and Italian, Ukrainian and international civil society associations.
