Ukraine, 232 dead and 1,343 injured in June, most civilian casualties in 3 years

(Adnkronos) – With at least 232 dead and 1,343 injured, last June was the month with the highest number of civilian casualties in Ukraine in three years. This is what emerges from a document published by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) based on data verified by the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) according to which June was the bloodiest month for civilians since May 2022, when there were 1,741 civilian casualties, with 589 dead and 1,152 injured. The conflict triggered by the full-scale Russian invasion has been going on in the country since February 24, 2022.
