(Adnkronos) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez reiterated, but this morning he did so in Parliament, that he will not resign in the face of the corruption cases that have involved prominent members of his Socialist Party, Josè luis Abalos and Santos Cerdan. “I am a clean politician. I will not throw in the towel and I will go forward”, he declared, admitting however that he had considered the hypothesis of resigning. Sanchez announced several measures to combat corruption, including the creation of a public integrity agency that will operate “independently”.
