Spain, Sanchez government announces ‘strong measures’ against corruption tomorrow

8 Luglio 2025

(Adnkronos) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will announce ”strong measures” against corruption tomorrow. This was anticipated by the spokeswoman for the Spanish government Pilar Alegria during a press conference at the end of the Council of Ministers in Madrid. The measures that Sanchez will announce, Alegria specified, take into account the proposals suggested by the executive’s allies and ”other parliamentary groups”.

The government is also preparing a course for all its senior officials regarding sexual harassment that will begin in September. The goal is to avoid repeating episodes such as those involving Sanchez’s close collaborator Francisco Salazar, who resigned on Saturday after being accused of sexual harassment by some women.
