Kenya, victims in anti-government protests, UN ‘very disturbed’

(Adnkronos) – “We are very disturbed by the killings, recorded yesterday, of at least ten people, by the looting and destruction of property in Kenya”. This was stated by the United Nations spokesperson for human rights, Ravina Shamdasani, denouncing the use by security forces of “live ammunition, rubber bullets, tear gas and water cannons”.
