(Adnkronos) – Italy’s foreign under-secretary Maria Tripodi and North Macedonia’s foreign minister Timco Mucunski on Wednesday opened a bilateral business forum attended by 200 local and Italian companies.
“I inaugurated in Skopje with MFA @TimcoMucunski, the Business Forum in the presence of 200 Italian and North Macedonian companies,” Tripodi wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“A concrete example of economic cooperation between North Macedonia and Italy and of #Growth Diplomcy, in line with deputy premier (and foreign minister) @Antonio_Tajani’s National Export Plan,” the tweet added.
Nato member North Macedonia became an European Union candidate in 2005 and opened membership negotiations in 2022.
