Iran, airspace partially closed for security reasons

(Adnkronos) – The airspace of central and western Iran has been closed to international flights for security reasons. This was reported by the media of the Islamic Republic, quoting a spokesman for the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, according to whom the eastern airspace is instead open. Iranian media specified that cancellations of domestic and international flights in the northern, southern and western areas of the country have been extended until Thursday at 2 pm local time (12:30 pm in Italy).
