(Adnkronos) – The United States must pay “millions of dollars” in compensation to Iran for the damage caused to its nuclear plants in joint raids with Israel. This was underlined by Tehran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Saeed Khatibzadeh, in an interview with the Lebanese broadcaster Al Mayadeen.
“Washington must compensate for the damage caused to Iranian facilities,” Khatibzadeh said, referring to the raids the US conducted against the Iranian nuclear sites of Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan on the night between last Saturday and Sunday. The deputy minister also announced that Iran will file a complaint with the UN against the United States for the attacks on the plants.
