Netanyahu’s office, ‘stop attacks after talk with Trump’

24 Giugno 2025

(Adnkronos) – Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed the conversation between the Israeli prime minister and US President Donald Trump, providing a more positive version of the phone call than the version some White House officials gave to reporters. “In the conversation – says the prime minister’s office – President Trump expressed his immense appreciation for Israel, which has achieved all of its war goals. The president also expressed confidence in the stability of the ceasefire”.

Shortly before their phone call, Trump had criticized Israel for strongly attacking Iran after the announcement of the impending ceasefire and for responding to Iranian missile attacks after the truce took effect. “Following the conversation between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israel refrained from further attacks,” the Prime Minister’s Office said.
