Iran, Cnn poll, 56% of Americans oppose Trump’s raids

(Adnkronos) – Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear sites is not supported by the majority of Americans, according to a CNN-commissioned poll. 56 percent of Americans are against it, and only 44 percent are in favor. Six out of ten Americans believe that the raids will increase the threat posed by Iran to the United States. Democrats are largely opposed to the raids, 88 percent of them are, and the majority of Republicans, 82 percent, support them. 58 percent of Americans argue that the raids will make Iran even more of a threat to the United States and only 27 percent believe that Trump’s decision can help contain the threat. 39 percent of Americans believe that the United States has not made enough of a diplomatic effort before using force, 32 percent the opposite.
