(Adnkronos) – The Revolutionary Guards (pasdaran) announced that they had launched hypersonic missiles against Israel in the latest round of night attacks, the 11th since the beginning of the war, and after Donald Trump called for the “unconditional surrender” of the Islamic Republic.
The “11th wave of the proud Operation True Promise 3 with Fattah-1 missiles” was carried out, the Revolutionary Guards said in a statement broadcast on state television, noting that the missiles “shook the shelters”. Hypersonic missiles travel at five times the speed of sound and can maneuver in flight, making them difficult to intercept.
Israeli military aircraft, meanwhile, targeted the Iranian capital even before dawn, after the army issued a warning to civilians to leave a specific area of Tehran for their safety. The Israeli army later said it had hit weapons production sites and a facility used to produce centrifuges.
