(Adnkronos) – There is a survivor of the Air India flight crash in Ahmedabad. This is Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, a forty-year-old of Anglo-Indian origin, who has lived in London for 20 years and who had traveled to India with his brother to visit family, as stated by the Ahmedabad police. Previously, police had reported that there appeared to be no survivors of the plane crash.
“Thirty seconds after takeoff, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so fast,” Ramesh told the Hindustan Times. The man explained that he had suffered “impact injuries”, including bruises to the chest, eyes and feet, but was otherwise lucid and conscious.
“When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I got up and ran. There were pieces of the plane around me. Someone grabbed me, put me in an ambulance and took me to the hospital,” he said.
