(Adnkronos) – The French National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office has opened a file for complicity in genocide, incitement to genocide and complicity in crimes against humanity against French-Israeli citizens suspected of having taken part in actions to block humanitarian aid to Gaza between January and May 2024. The news was reported by AFP, which cites sources close to the case.
The start of the investigation follows a complaint with constitution of civil party filed in November 2024 by the French Jewish Union for Peace (UFJP) and by a French-Palestinian victim who denounced “the organization, participation and appeal to participate in concrete actions to block humanitarian aid to the occupied territory of Gaza, in particular by physically preventing the passage of trucks at border posts controlled by the Israeli army”.
