(Adnkronos) – The cholera epidemic in Sudan has caused 172 deaths and 2,700 infections in one week. The Ministry of Health of Khartoum reports this. In a note, the Sudanese Ministry of Health stated that 90 percent of the cases were reported in the state of Khartoum, where the supply of water and electricity has been interrupted in recent weeks due to drone attacks attributed to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) at war with the regular army since April 2023.
