(Adnkronos) – At least 11 people were injured in a shooting that broke out last night in a South Carolina seaside resort. Horry County Police Department did not provide details on the condition of those hospitalized, specifying that there are reports of other people taken to hospital by private vehicles.
Among the injured is also one of the policemen who intervened at the scene of the shooting which took place during the night near a boat pier along the coastal road. The North Myrte Beach Police officer was shot in the leg, Nbcnews reports. At the moment, no information has been provided on possible suspects or the causes that led to the shooting.
