(Adnkronos) – Italy’s primier Giorgia Meloni and her Ethiopian counterpart Abiy Ahmed met in Rome on Monday for talks at the prime minister’s office, Palazzo Chigi, it said in a statement.
Italy and Ethiopia are cooperating on climate change and economic development. The two countries signed an 7.2 million euro MoU in December 2023 for six projects covering agriculture, CO2 reduction and adaptation and water resources, according to the environment ministry.
