(Adnkronos) – A flight from Tokyo to Houston was forced to make an unexpected landing in Seattle after a passenger tried to open two of the aircraft’s doors during the trip. It happened on Saturday on All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight 114, which was diverted due to the behavior of the “unruly passenger,” as the airline reported. The FBI, CNN reports, said that passengers and crew intervened to stop a person who was then taken to hospital for medical checks after landing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Seattle Police confirmed to the US network that they had been alerted to “reports of a passenger attempting to open the doors during the flight.” Then, while the plane was on the runway in Seattle, a second person was taken away for “unruly behavior.” According to the FBI, he lost his temper due to the prolonged flight and punched the door of the airplane toilet. The flight then resumed its journey to Houston.
