(Adnkronos) – At least 50 people have died in India due to the torrential rains that have hit New Delhi and areas of Uttar Pradesh, in the north of the Asian giant, since yesterday. The toll was confirmed by the authorities. Five victims were counted in the capital, while 45 died in Uttar Pradesh. The India Today news website reports damage in various areas. The alert is not over. Experts do not rule out that heavy rains may still occur in the coming days.
