(Adnkronos) – Since yesterday evening, 90 trucks loaded with aid have entered Gaza, ending the 80-day Israeli siege, which prevented any goods from entering the enclave. Haaretz reports. The UN called the arrival of aid “a drop in the ocean”, adding that most Palestinians in Gaza will not see any significant improvement in aid distribution in the near future. The goods arrived consist of flour, baby food and medical equipment. In the last two days, the trucks have been stuck at the Kerem Shalom crossing, which leads to the Strip, after the United Nations declared that the road proposed by the IDF for the trucks was dangerous and could have caused looting. This morning, the parties agreed on a route dedicated to the passage of goods.
