(Adnkronos) – Clashes between the Sudanese army and the RSF paramilitaries (Rapid Support Forces) broke out this morning in the city of Omdurman, near Khartoum. The army spokesman said in a statement, speaking of a “large-scale offensive” to drive the paramilitaries out of their last positions near Khartoum. The RSF lost control of the Sudanese capital last March.
