(Adnkronos) – US President Donald Trump departed from Abu Dhabi aboard Air Force One, thus ending his Gulf tour which, in addition to the United Arab Emirates, also took him to Saudi Arabia and then Qatar. Emirati President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan bid farewell to Trump at the airport.
During the tour, the US president oversaw the signing of a series of agreements worth billions of dollars, promised to lift sanctions against Syria after meeting with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, and expressed optimism about the possibility of reaching an agreement with Iran on its nuclear program.
