16 Maggio 2025

(Adnkronos) – French President Emmanuel Macron has denounced ”interference” in elections in Europe and in particular in Romania, where voting returns on Sunday in the runoff. This is interference that ”undermines the integrity of our democracies”, Macron said in his speech during the plenary session of the European Political Community summit in Tirana.

“We see through our elections, Romania is experiencing it right now, that there are very clear threats that undermine the integrity of our democracies,” said the head of the Elysée, also citing “Moldova, a daily victim of Russian interference”.
