(Adnkronos) – The United States has delivered a written proposal for a nuclear deal to Iran during the fourth round of talks between the two countries. A US official and two other sources told the Axios news website. According to the report, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, presented the proposal to the Iranians in Oman on Sunday.
According to Axios, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi brought the plan back to Tehran for consultations with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian.
