(Adnkronos) – The new German Foreign Minister, Johann Wadephul, has declared that Berlin is willing to “follow” the request of US President Donald Trump for NATO to increase its defense spending target to 5% of GDP. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte presented a plan to reach that figure, “and we are following him on this line,” he said entering the informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Turkey.
